Moving beyond building into protection.

This session shifted focus from creating ideas to protecting them. Founders were introduced to the legal foundations behind their work, with a focus on intellectual property, ownership, and risk.

The pace was practical and applied, pushing teams to think quickly about what they own, what could be at risk, and the implications of sharing or scaling ideas without proper protection.

Purpose

The workshop challenged teams to think beyond just building and into ownership. It encouraged participants to question not just what they create, but what they legally own, how it can be protected, and where risks could emerge if it is not secured properly.

Approach

Through practical scenarios and applied discussions, teams made quick decisions around intellectual property, licensing, and legal exposure. The focus was on clarity, risk awareness, and understanding how legal frameworks shape what founders can protect and scale.
