About Demo Day

What to expect

A public finish to a private stretch of work.

Demo Day is not a symbolic ending. It is the point at which student ventures must communicate clearly, withstand scrutiny, and present themselves with a level of seriousness that matches the work behind them.

  • Live pitches delivered to a panel of industry professionals, investors, and university stakeholders.
  • A startup expo where each team showcases its venture, prototype, product, or early concept.
  • Direct interaction between student founders, curious attendees, potential collaborators, and supporters.
Who should attend

Open to students, professionals, collaborators, and the simply curious.

The event is free and designed to be welcoming without becoming vague. Whether you want to support student innovation, spot promising founders early, or see what Birmingham students are building, you are in the right room.
